Woman found dead on Rt. 301 was a mother of two young kids | News
UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (WUSA9) -- Maryland State police have identified the woman found dead Saturday night along Route 301 in Upper Marlboro as Tiffany Storey.
“She loved her kids,” said Pam Jensen. Jensen works with the First Baptist Church of Upper Marlboro and told WUSA9 that Storey was once a very active member of their church.
Police say Storey was found dead Saturday along Route 301 near the Route 4 overpass just before 9:30 p.m. Maryland State Police said Storey was found clothed, face-down and with serious trauma to the head and upper torso. Police also said there were no signs of suspicious injury.
A Medical Examiner is still investigating the cause of death.

Meanwhile, police are still seeking possible witnesses. They’re continuing to ask any motorists who may have seen the victim that night and have already pulled surveillance video from any businesses in the area.
The mystery over Storey’s death is only adding to the pain her family now feels. WUSA9 spoke with Storey’s mother on Tuesday. She declined to give an on-camera interview but asked the community for continued thoughts and prayers. She told WUSA9 the family is working with Maryland State Police.
“She [Storey] was a sweet person, always had a smile and a hug for me,” said Jensen, who told WUSA9 the church was very important to Storey.
“When she first came back to this area, she reached out to come here... she has a family and [I] was hurt for them and wished that there was something that I could’ve done,” Jensen said.
