About Us

Daughters of Zion Empowerment Center

We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, community-based, Christian outreach ministry committed to providing services to women who are secretly hurting.

DZEC is a ministry that arrests domestic violence which has been polarized as just physical. Domestic violence is bondage and without the physical ropes and ties, it binds you emotionally, psychologically and spiritually. DZEC gives you awareness that you can bypass these issues. We empower women of all backgrounds and help them to become the women they were created to be.

Our Mission:

The purpose/mission of DZEC is to empower women by creating avenues of hope for those who are and have been broken, bruised and secretly hurting; enabling them to see that there is a way out. DZEC stands for a way out! It paves the way for women and assures them that they can heal.

Testimonials

"Pastor Karen Presley and her Daughters of Zion ministry helped me get beyond denial, to see that I was actually wearing a mask -- even more than one. --- Bobby Jean
Without this class I would not have overcame my addiction to the strip club and discovered my anger issues or found out how important it is to release daily. Thank You Karen for keeping it real because I couldn't have made it through this time in my life without you." --- Rhesa
